Local Organizations Supporting Businesses and People with Disabilities

The City of Bend’s Accessibility Advisory Committee’s (COBAAC) purpose is to assist and advise the city on the most efficient and responsible means by which to make its programs, services, activities and facilities accessible to all of Bend’s residents and visitors. They focus on:

  • Supporting businesses in becoming more accessible

Center for Independent living committed to providing guidance, resources and support to empower people with disabilities and their community.

Substance abuse is one of the most difficult challenges Central Oregon employers face. This addiction treatment organization offers support, encouragement, accountability and structure, creating the opportunity to build a more fulfilling and sober life.

A public nonprofit dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down Syndrome through research, medical care, education and advocacy.

This organization is dedicated to providing personalized support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in search of employment, independent living, social interaction and personal growth.
