The Sprinkler Inspection Program is an inspection service offered through the City’s WaterWise Program. Inspections are free and conducted by trained City of Bend staff.
Appointments for inspections are limited and scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Appointments are offered May – August and can be scheduled by contacting the City’s Utility Department at 541-317-3000 (ext 2) or by sending an emailing to: firstname.lastname@example.org
You are eligible if you receive water from the City of Bend and you have an operating underground irrigation system.
Request an AppointmentAppointments are scheduled on a first come first serve basis and quantities are limited. To request an appointment call the City of Bend Utility Department at 541-317-3000 (ext 2) or email. Inspections last approximately one hour depending on the size and complexity of the irrigation system.
Prepare Irrigation System for InspectionInspection systems should be started for the season and in operable condition. Irrigation systems with missing sprinklers, major leaks, and/or damaged components may be unable to be inspected. Please make sure the irrigation controller is accessible and free of any obstructions.
Review Inspection Results
Inspection results will be available in a detailed report once the inspection is complete. Review these results and take the necessary actions listed in the report. Also review the WaterWise Landscape Irrigation Common Problems & Easy Fixes fact sheet. Please let water conservation staff know if you have any questions about the results of the inspection.
