Working to make downtown parking easy, available and safe.
The City of Bend, Downtown Bend Business Association and the Downtown Parking Advisory Committee are working together to improve parking downtown. Changes took effect on January 1, 2019. Download a copy of Parking FAQ and Updates or see information below.
EXTENDED ENFORCEMENT HOURS
NEW HOURS: 8 a.m to 7 p.m.
To improve the availability of customer parking in the evening downtown, enforcement hours are being extended from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will be in effect for the downtown core, which is bounded by Greenwood to the North, Lava and Harriman to the East, Franklin to the South and Drake Park to the West.
RATE CHANGES
To make parking more affordable for everyone, and maximize parking opportunities, new parking permit rate changes will be taking effect.
MONTHLY PERMIT RATES:
- Centennial Garage: $40
- Hospital Hill: $30
- Newport lot: $20
- Green area: $60
- Yellow area: $30
DISCOUNT RATE: 50% off Permit for Income Qualified.
DAILY RATES: Garage: $10
PARKMOBILE
ParkMobile is a free app that makes it easy to find and pay for parking. It will help improve the experience for visitors to Downtown. The app is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Mirror Pond lots and Centennial Parking Garage pay stations will remain in use.

VIRTUAL PERMITS
We will be transitioning from paper permits to a new, virtual permitting system that will make it easier than ever to purchase and manage your parking permit.
4 HOUR MAX AT MIRROR POND LOTS
To improve safety and allow for more customers to find parking, a 4 hour max time limit will be put into effect for the Mirror Pond lots.
