The Municipal Court provides a local forum for the resolution of minor traffic violations, parking citations and city ordinance infractions issued within the city limits of Bend.


The Municipal Court is the judicial branch of the City government. Municipal Court Judge Gwen Moore, appointed by the City Council, oversees the Court's operations.

: The Municipal Court is located within the Bend Police Department at the base of Pilot Butte, on the corner of Greenwood Ave. and 15th St.

The Court is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays

Telephone Hours: 541-388-5572 - Press 9 to speak to a Court Clerk 
Monday through Friday: 9:00am to 12:00 pm AND 1:00pm to 4:00pm. 
EXCEPTION Thursday: 1:00pm to 4:00pm only. 

Office Hours
Monday through Friday: 9:00am to 4:00pm. 
EXCEPTION Thursdays: open at 8:00am for appearance/arraignment check-in only 
24-hour locked drop box is located inside the entrance to the Municipal Court.

Court is in session on Thursdays only as follows:

  • Arraignments (First Appearance): 8:15am or 10:00am
  • Trials: 1:15pm and 2:00pm 
  • Continuances: 3:00PM
