Metered Water Services
Metered water service is based on the amount of water (consumption) that actually goes through the meter. Water meter readings are captured with an advanced automated metering infrastructure (AMI) system. All bills will also include a base rate and any additional charges.

Your initial bill may not cover a full month of water. This depends on when you start service. The initial bill will include the minimum base rate and consumption charges from the date you start service. Following bills may vary depending on the billing cycle. Billing cycles typically vary between 27 and 34 days in length. Base charges will fluctuate depending on the number of days in the billing cycle.

Sewer Services (Water Reclamation)
Residential and non-residential customers are billed a monthly base rate* and a volume charge. Sewer volume charges are based on winter quarter average (WQA) water usage (the average water consumption for the three winter months, December through February).  Using WQA helps to exclude outdoor water use.

* Base charges will fluctuate depending on the number of days in the billing cycle. This number is determined by the number of days between meter readings and can vary between 27 and 34.
