The Utility Billing and Customer Service Division's primary responsibility is to provide day-to-day customer service and billing for City of Bend water, sewer (wastewater), stormwater utilities, and to monitor taxes and other regulated activities. Our friendly staff is here to assist with your utility service accounts. You may also choose to pay and manage your account online.

Latest News:  Offices Closed to the Public and Temporary Suspension of Water Service Shut-Off

Updated March 18, 2020 4:00 p.m. 

In response to the developing events of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the City of Bend Utility Department has temporarily suspended all water service shut-offs for non-payment. Utility customers will continue to be responsible for the water, sewer, and stormwater charges that accrue during this time. However, water services will not be shut-off.

Customers should continue paying their utility bill. Utility Billing staff will be proactively contacting customers scheduled for shut-off due to non-payment and field staff will notify customers through door hangers. 

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020 all City facilities, excluding the main Police Department lobby, will be closed to the public. 

Customers wishing to pay a utility bill are encouraged to make electronic payments if possible. To make your payment without visiting our office, the following resources are available:

  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) phone payment system (541) 388-5515
  • Customer Service at (541) 388-5515 during regular office hours: Monday through Friday, excluding holidays: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Online payments:
  • Drop Box located in the Wall Street parking lot of City Hall at 710 NW Wall Street
    • Checks or money orders only – NO CASH
