Bend is an ‘outdoorsy’ town, and what better way to help customers enjoy the Bend ambiance than by sitting outside and taking in the area’s sunny days, scenic beauty, and friendly people? Outdoor dining and seating helps create an active and vibrant pedestrian atmosphere. The City of Bend is dedicated to encouraging and promoting these activities, while maintaining safe and accessible walkways, with the Outdoor Café Permit Program.

Do I need an Outdoor Café Permit?

Outdoor Café Permits are a requirement for businesses who wish to sell food or beverages on public property or in the public right of ways which includes public sidewalks, alleys, and plazas.

The City of Bend manages a process for businesses to successfully participate in the Outdoor Café Program. Send us your application today!
