15th Street Detour Starts for Septic to Sewer Project
To build the Desert Woods and Neighborhood Extension Project, the first construction phase of the City’s Septic to Sewer Conversion Program, the City will close southbound traffic on 15th Street between Reed Market Road and King Hezekiah Way from approximately June 10 through November.

Statement by the Bend City Council – June 3, 2020
As elected leaders of the City of Bend, we are heartbroken and angry by the senseless killing of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minnesota.

The City of Bend’s Accessibility Advisory Committee’s (COBAAC) purpose is to assist and advise the City on the most efficient and responsible means by which to make its programs, services, activities and facilities accessible to all of Bend’s residents and visitors.
COBAAC is made up of 9-12 volunteer members. The committee has a goal of having at least 51 percent of the members from the community with disabilities.
