Murphy Road is a busy collector route located in Southeast Bend. The project includes transportation improvements along the existing corridor from Parrell Road to Brosterhous Road and the extension of Murphy Road from Brosterhous Road, over BNSF Railway, connecting to 15th Street at Golden Gate Place.

15th Street Roundabout and Sidewalk Extension work began Monday, August 12th! The work will take place in three stages between August 12th and late October of 2019.
June Project Update & Open House Information
- Earthwork will continue intermittently in the project staging area west of 15th Street as imported material is available.
- Open House and Informational Meeting: Thursday, June 13, 2019, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (presentation at 6 p.m.) at Jewell Elementary Library, 20550 Murphy Road, Bend. The project team will share the results of the Alternatives Analysis Study, discuss the project in more detail, review the project schedule, and answer questions.
- August 2019: Open house prior to construction of the 15th Street roundabout and sidewalk extension.

During peak construction season—typically April through October—the City sends out weekly road and traffic reports each Friday to help members of the community plan the quickest, safest and most reliable routes to their destinations.
