Open House for the 14^th Street Reconstruction Project

Construction of Stage 2 (Galveston to Newport)

The City is holding an open house for the public to discuss upcoming work on the 14th Street corridor between the Galveston Avenue roundabout and the Newport Avenue roundabout.

Date and time: 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5

Location: Rosie Bareis Community Campus, 1010 NW 14^th Street, Bend.

The meeting will inform businesses and residents about the project, including what may be expected and how to best access the impacted areas during construction.  

Construction will continue in this area after the Cascade Natural Gas Company completes its current project. A full closure along the 14th Street corridor between Galveston and Newport is anticipated to begin the second week of July 2018 and run for nearly two months.
