Bend’s Transportation Plan Public Open House

Post Date:05/29/2018 1:36 PM

The City of Bend will hold a public open house for Bend’s Transportation Plan from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 11, at the Bend Park & Recreation District Office, Riverbend Community Room, 799 SW Columbia Street.

The City of Bend is working with residents and stakeholders to update Bend’s Transportation Plan – a blueprint for a transportation system that will provide more options for getting around while protecting the quality of life that makes Bend a great place. Bend’s Transportation Plan will identify needed transportation projects and a strategy to fund them.

Open house attendees can review goals for Bend’s Transportation Plan, provide input on goals for improving transportation and share ideas for transportation projects to improve major streets.

This event location is accessible. Sign language interpreter service, assistive listening devices, materials in alternate format such as Braille, large print, electronic formats and audio cassette tape, or any other accommodations are available upon advance request. Please contact Karen Swirsky no later than June 6 at or 541-323-8513. Providing notice at least three days prior to the event will help ensure availability.

Those unable to attend the open house on June 11 can participate in an online alternative. Go to between June 11 and July 6, 2018 to review materials, answer questions and leave comments on an interactive map.
