Weekly Road and Traffic Report

  • 2017 City Street preservation work, road closures with detours at night, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.:

  • 15th Street between Ramsey Road and Greenwood Avenue, road closure with detour, 9/5/17 – 9/7/17

  • Bond Street and Wilson Avenue roundabout, road closure with detour, 9/6/17 – 9/7/17

  • Broadway Street between Delaware Avenue and Colorado Avenue, single lane closure with flagging for Cascade Natural Gas main installation, roads open at night, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Butler Market between Third Street and Second Street, single lane closures impacting either one lane of eastbound or one lane of westbound traffic at a time, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017. Info:

  • Nels Anderson Road between Nels Anderson Place and Brandis Court, single northbound shoulder closure, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017. Info:

  • The Third Street Sidewalks Improvement Project has been completed! NOTE: Left turn onto Roosevelt Avenue has been permanently blocked with a center pedestrian median. Info:

  • Yates Drive between Mount Washington Drive and Chandler Avenue, road closure for utility construction and road improvements, 9/5/17 – 9/19/17.

  • Neff Road between Purcell Boulevard and Shepard Road for pedestrian improvements, lane shifts occur 9/5/17 – 9/6/17 from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.; single lane closures occur 9/7/17 – 9/8/17 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • 14th Street between Newport Avenue and Simpson Avenue, single lane closures with flagging in northbound lane for utility potholing, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., 9/5/17 – 9/7/17.

  • NW Broadway Street between NW Jefferson Place and NW Delaware, road closed for waterline replacement project. This section of NW Broadway will be open to local traffic only with detours clearly marked for thru traffic. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and use Bond Street and Wall Street. Project and detour info:

27th Street Sewer Line traffic updates:

  • 27th Street between Forum Drive and Neff Road, single lane closures to allow for landscape installation.  All turn movements at intersections will remain open.

  • 27th Street/Bear Creek Road intersection, varying traffic control changes over an anticipated three week period.  Initially, the intersection will be controlled by flaggers daily between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm.  Anticipate congestion in this area during that time.  Beginning mid-week, access between Bear Creek and 27th Street will be closed.  Detours will be in place. Stay tuned for further information.

  • 27th Street between Ferguson Road and Bear Creek road, closed to northbound through traffic 24 hours a day. However, local traffic can travel northbound between Capella Place and Bear Creek Road and between Ferguson Road and Stevens Road. The northbound detour is as follows: Northbound 27th Street traffic is directed West on Ferguson Road to 15th Street, then North on 15th Street to Hwy 20 and East on Hwy 20, back to 27th Street

  • Reed Market Road between 27th Street and Camelot Place/Daly Estates Drive (including the Camelot/Daly Estates intersection), closed to all traffic.  Closure restricts access to the easterly most section of Reed Market Road only. Reed Market Road will remain open between 15th Street and Camelot Place/Daly Estates Drive. Detours are on Ferguson Road to 15th Street. Southbound traffic on 27th Street remains open; northbound traffic is closed. This closure is anticipated to be in place until late September.

Ongoing closures:

  • York Drive between Lolo Drive and Clearwater Drive, road closure with local access only for road paving, 8/23/17 – 9/6/17, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors.
